sim: importing SIM contacts is really slow and unsuccesful #38

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Open contacts
2. Import/Export -> Import from SIM
3. Import all

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
To import the contacts from SIM, but the importing method is really slow (~30 
minutes for 117 contacts) and after that, no contacts in the contacts menu.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Beta 1 with sleep patch

I've updated with the o2bupdate and I have imported 200 in less than 1 minute

my android not recognize contacts in sim. And when i create one manually, 
dissapear later.

I figured it out. :) After you import the contacts from SIM, you need to go to 
Contacts\Menu\Display Options, tap on your account and check the "All other 
contacts". :D Now I have all my imported contacts.

Hi can anyone help? when i receive sms from my friends, it only shows the 
contact number + area code and it doesn't display my friend's name as in my 
contacts.

When I installed Android on Omnia B7610 :-

1. I Cannot View My Simcard Contacts
2. Downloaded Apps From Market icons are Not Visible.
3. I Want to Change The Hard Button Function So that i can Easily Navigate.
4. Qwerty has Become Useless Now.
