o2bupdate.tar.gz updates now don't work after reinstallation #59

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Unsure
2. Reinstallation to my storage
3. o2bupdate.tar.gz doesn't uncompress and copy files over nor does the file
get deleted

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
As in the past before I reinstalled Android I expect the o2bupdate.tar.gz file
in the root of my storage to uncompress, copy the files to Android system and
delete the o2bupdate.tar.gz file.

The file stays in the root of my storage and doesn't get deleted nor have the
files copied over.

This used to work before reinstalling so not sure why it doesn't now.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Installed the original Android beta but no updates because of the problem. I
have copied the latest 27/1 zImage over.

Android boots fine with no errors though.

Please provide any additional information below.

FIXED NOW thanks to Rapid's suggestion.

Turns out I forgot I downloaded the beta before and also after the 18/1. So
this time I installed the original which isn't linked anymore and that had a
problem with updates.
