sound: ability to select wether the internal or external mic should be used with earphones

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. PLugin the earphone without mic
2. the phone recongize the earphone as handfree
3. Internal Mic from the phone is off
4. The mic is off and have to remove the earphone to talk

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I want the interface to select the type of earphone
just enable the phone 's mic again when i am not using handfree
just like the one in WM6.5
Or just detect the earphone 3poles/ 2poles automatically..

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
android for o2,,
