sound: when headphones plugged in. main speaker still plays sounds #81

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Plug in headphones
2. Play music / system sound
3.

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
Expected sound through headphones only. 
Sound through main speaker and headphones occurs instead.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Jan 31st update with 3d drivers and all patches up to Feb 4. 

Please provide any additional information below.

when i (beta2 on i8000) use music app it plays on speaker, when headphones 
plugged in it plays on headphones, when plugged out, music app pauses, after 
press play, again on speaker. Seems normal. What exact steps are needed to 
reproduce problem?

if on home screen plug in headphones and increase / decrease sound. can hear
through both headphones and speakers.
