data/3g: phone freezes after adding APN #92

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. menu,setting,wireless &networks,mobile networks,Access Point Names
2. press cube, New APN, set APN name "internet" (I'm using Singtel)
3. Press Cube,Save

What is the expected output?
Expect it to save and I can surf net using 3G.

What do you see instead?
It goes back to the APN list screen, and I can see the new APN "internet"
added, but the phone then freezes in 2 seconds or so.
After that I have to pull off the battery to restart. After restarting, it
cannot connect to GSM network and gives the error "The process
com.android.phone has stopped unexpectedly".

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
BETA2 with 2D/3D

Please provide any additional information below.
This is different form issue 72 as I could add the new APN but was unable to
use it.

Same here, when trying to add an APN for a Brazilian company.
So far, I found no solution in the appropriate forums.
