I used basic setup here with module Alway Know Enemy (AlwaysKnownU) synced to commander and a few enemies.

Start scenario, commander will send units to attack enemies and will use helicopter for transport. It is random and one of 2 situations can happen.

  1. Commander right from start will send helicopter with squad to land right next to enemy (300-400m) Screenshots 1-2 1

2

  1. Commander will transport and unload first squad normally, 2km away from enemy. Screensh 3 ots 3-4.

4

  1. But when it takes second squad, it places waypoint right next to enemy (300-400m) Screenshots 5-6 5

6

Exactly the same issue happens with ground transports Screenshot 7 - situation 1 7

Screenshots 8-11 - situation 2 8

From my tests: Well the problem is: Get to mark, report order complete, get new order.

The disembark location mark is marked the way it in theory should not endanger transport vehicles, so in radius of a known enemy.

If in danger [enemy close / getting shoot at] infantry will disembark and transport will return to base, while foot soldiers will engage / continue to the target location [that looks like a flanking movement, before hitting main target]

{tested 15 September 2024}. Might be wrong, but I don't see a bug here yet.
