We already have "Background radiation" but need this new definition

Suggest rewording of definition:

Radiation present in an experimental or therapeutic process, other than that produced as part of that planned process.

Because of the relationship to a specific planned process, "natural background radiation" should instead be a sibling of this class, not a child...
