7 years ago Generally yes. I might add that. Maybe something along the lines of adding waypoint-like things to the compass element. An entirely new compass would look weird. But for now it's not planned any time soon. There are still other - more important - things to do (free placement and resizing for example). But once those are done I'll look into mod compatiblity.
Would it be possible, and if would you be willing, to add a config (list of items), or mod compatibility code, to have the compass hud available for other mod compasses / items? I have Iberia in my modpack, which replaces the vanilla Minecraft compass with its own, which always point to the spawn point of the player whom crafted it, and always point North in any non-overworld dimension.
