This is about "The official ProtonVPN Linux app is available for Debian 10, Ubuntu 20+, Mint 19+, MX Linux 19+, Fedora 31+ and Archlinux / Manjaro."
The website https://protonvpn.com/support/linux-vpn-setup/ states "We support the latest stable versions of the following distros. Click on a link for full setup instructions: Debian [Ubuntu](https://protonvpn.com/support/linux-ubuntu-vpn-setup/ Fedora While it's possible to use Debian version in MX Linux, and the official 3.13 proton-cli version is in AUR, the official GUI app is not found in aur or extra repos. This also applies to EndeavourOS, another arch-based distro
