Installation problem - Program does not get installed. #6

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. I tried to install the program on my Vista OS pc, however at the end it
says "There is a problem with this Windows Installer package.  A program
run as part of the setup did not finish as expected.  Contact your support
personnel or package vendor. Once i click Ok, it rolls back without
completing the installation.

As mentioned above.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Most compatibility issued, thats what takes me here tho, but solved my 
installation issue with it as well thanks guys :)

October 30, 2014 I have the same problem as the first #1 and continuing.  Each 
of us encountered the same error message that some portion of the program did 
not install correctly.

Now what do I do????  The file shown was: c://Program Files (86)/Google/Google 
sitemap generator

#14 solved my problem to install some software in Windows XP (worked in 7/8/10)

The error log was this:

Solved this problem by running the installation kit with Admin privileges

1. Run a CMD window as Administrator and change the working folder to where 
you've downloaded the installation kit
2. Run the installation kit from the terminal (e.g. 
"sitemap_win-beta1-20091231.msi")

The installation should run smoothly this time.
Be sure to have IIS installed
