Ajax API should let me search MY MAP that i have created in google maps.

1. otherwise whats the point
2. this would allow anybody to make a searchable google map
3. this would complell people to make a map

I expect to be able to use the AJAX wizard but link it to MY MAP

latest version on xp firefox

Try using the AJAX Search API WebSearch class with setSiteRestriction set to 
the url
of your MyMap.  Does that satisfy this?

This works, you just need to wait for Google to index the KML from your map.
