Value Proposition

As a user,
I want to be able to delete notes associated with remedies
so that I can keep my remedy information organized and up-to-date.

Description

Acceptance Criteria

• Each remedy details view should include an easily accessible "Delete Note" option.
• Clicking the "Delete" option should trigger a confirmation message.
• The message is designed to prevent accidental deletions by asking the user to confirm their intention.
• The cancel option should allow the user to exit the deletion process if selected by mistake or if they change their mind.
• If confirmed, the note should be immediately removed from the detail page.

However, I recommend revisiting the acceptance criteria. Please refer to the "Delete Remedy" user story for guidance.

It's important to remember that acceptance criteria should always be written from the user’s perspective. Users are not concerned with whether the "functionality is implemented," but rather that the note is deleted as they expect.

Here’s an example of how the acceptance criteria could be structured:

• Each remedy note should include an easily accessible delete option.
• Clicking the delete option should trigger a confirmation dialog to prevent accidental deletions.
• The confirmation dialog should ask the user to confirm their intention and offer options to either confirm the deletion or cancel the action.
• If all notes are deleted, a message should appear indicating that there are no notes available, with an option to add new ones.

Regarding the confirmation dialog for deleting a note: Whether this is necessary in every instance, as with deleting an entire remedy, is debatable. I’ll leave that decision up to you.🙃
