Memory Leaks With Latest Safari

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.Have Franker Extension on
2. Leave some browser windows open
3.Check Safari WEb Content later...eats RAM

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

Safari Web Content should remain the same with no extra usage.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

Latest of both products

I have my doubts Franker leaks.

Please, give a link to the page you experience the leak.
Please, try disable Franker, open the page and monitor the memory usage.

Do you think that's enough just to have Franker enabled or you must do 
'frankate' on a page to see the leak?

I have left about 12 windows open. One was Facebook, the others were pages such 
as lexis nexus and other legal software sites and finally a few cd cataloguing 
sites. Safari Web Content tripled over night with this extension on. Without, 
it remained the same.

Do you use any AdBlocking?

In my experience, you should try updating AdBlock filters. Bad filters can 
sometimes be the cause of memory leaks.

No add filters. It's happening with Franker alone but also exhibited by other 
plugins built on the original architecture. 1password plugin by agile ...they 
were able to replicate this on the Decca Classics site:

But what do you mean saying "built on the original architecture"? Is there 
other way to build extensions for Safari?
Who exactly were able to reproduce the issue with 1Password (or you mean 
Franker?) extension on Decca Classics site? If that was not you, could you, 
please, give me a link to the description?

Agile Development (makers of 1Password) acknowledge Safari Web Content eating 
RAM after hours sitting idle on some sites with their plugin engaged. We tested 
10 plugins (Franker included) and all seemed to exhibit this behavior other 
than Social Fixier (a Facebook plugin that seems to get updated every few 
weeks).

Okay, I see. Thanks for sharing.

Had a quick look at Social Fixier and see it is limited to facebook.com and 
socialfixer.com. That could be the explanation. I guess other extensions you 
tested are not limited to specific domains and that could be general Safari 
(WebKit?) extension API/framework issue.

I'll try experiment myself, but, please, share if you learn any other extension 
you know finally fixed/worked around the issue.
