There's nothing Rails-specific in Rspec matchers, yet:

rails is part of gem name
rails is part of Gemfile and used for testing (not a release dependency in gemspec)
tested against several versions of Rails

Upcoming 2.0 release is a good hook to clear naming issues

Cleared any blockers for this in #875.

Proposal: release both ruby_event_store-rspec and rails_event_store-rspec. Former is renamed gem, latter is now a wrapper with post-install message explaining rename.
