RainLoop Webmail + Sieve #1061

I am using ownCloud 9 and RainLoop Webmail. I use email server where the third port 4190 is blocked and not with the possibility of release. Does anyone know another way to connect the sieve RainLoop?

levinuss commented 8 years ago

Have you any access to the mailserver? If yes you can change the sieve port. If no, how do you access your sieve filters usually?

FilipeDanielGS commented 8 years ago

I do not have direct access to the server it is outsourced. I only have access to the usual port imap and smtp.

Then you are out of luck.

Same topic, but different question: The sieve topic about the implementation and the user scripts has been closed somewhere in 2013, so I'll ask here: I see that you chose a way of implementing your own sieve script file syntax with coded descriptions in the sieve rules instead of using something like "# rule:[Spam]" or such for the descriptions. Although I find that rather odd (one can't even see the rule names in the script), you probably have your reasons for that. Coming from roundcube and considering switching to rainloop, that is an important topic for me. Will it stay that way? And if I comply with that, how am I to import my extensive rule set into the rainloop syntax? Sincerely, Michael

Same problem here...for that, I've opened a new ticket: #1137
