Authentication failed - logging into gmail account #1064

Hello, No matter what i try to configure in the domain configuration of gmail i cannot login using my gmail credentials. It always says Authentication failed. My own mail server just works fine using the same domain setup. Have you tried enabling Gmail's "less secure apps access" as described here?

I have the same problem, can't login to my gmail account - try other mail services and all working but not gmail. I'll try Gmail's "less secure apps access" - don't work for me, but finally i found in logs this: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/78754 and the 3th options about "DisplayUnlockCaptcha". When i do this i can login on my gmail !! Yay! ;))

Please tell if this help you - maybe someone need this too ;) Hope this can help.

it was the DisplayUnlockCaptcha for me. try all of em til it works. if it works on first option, then that was the issue.

if non of the options works, i don't know what to do.

When you use 2FA you have to create a app password! https://myaccount.google.com/ Security-app password

Unfortunately, App password is no longer available? If App Passwords appear disabled or no longer available, activate 2FA. If it doesn't appear after the fact, you can search for it as well.
