It seems that the file path is written incorrectly to the registry. I'll fix that in the next version.
Had a similar problem. 1.2.99 worked fine until I did drag&drop to another screen and it vanished and wouldn't start again. I uninstalled/re-installed several times, deleted registry entries as far as I found them ... Simply does not work anymore. Would love to buy it since it fits my requirements perfectly. Google Drive sync is great, and I can jump to the snippet categories via stream deck hotkeys.
@Artcue if the application doesn't start at all (i.e. you don't see it in the Task Manager) check the logs from the Windows Event Viewer if there are any hints what's causing the problem.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Rainclip - did not fix the issue I confirmed Rainclip is in Startup/Task Manager
