Downloaded Sigil and placed in my applications folder. I am running  Mac OSX 
10.5.8 on an IMac.

I have downloaded previous versions of Sigil.  This new version doesn't run on 
my machine.

As noted Sigil only runs on Intel Macs (both 32 bit and 64 bit) with 10.6 (Snow 
Leopard) or 10.7 (Lion).

Just stick with the older version of Sigil.  No need to Go over the top.  Well, 
 at least until you upgrade to 10.6.

Check ou the dropdown box at the top left of the Download page.  Change to all 
downloads.
