Sigil 5 doesn't run on 32-bit Mac OSX #1226

I was using Sigil 4.x without many issues - now with Sigil 5 it no longers
loads. I suspect this is because I'm running a 32-bit Intel Core Duo on OS X
10.6 Snow Leopard

As of 0.5.0 Sigil is x64 only on OS X.

Johnathan,
I'm in the exact same situation. I tried to compile the Sigil source code on
my Core Duo but received many errors. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong. If I
get anywhere I'll post an update here.

John,
Any chance you will go back to supporting 32-bit Snow Leopard(10.6) at 0.5.0?
I also tried to compile on my own, without much success. It compiled,
but the Sigil.app created in the BIN folder won't run.

Lion dropped support for 32-bit . With Apple having stated that Mountain Lion
will be shipping in a few months, no. Once ML is released I'll be moving to it
and Lion will become the minimum OS X required version.
