Sigil Freezes/Crashes when one tries to import an image file.

What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. right click on Images
2. click on Add Existing Files
3. select a .jpg to upload
...

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

I expect a copy of the .jpg to be imported to the images folder. Instead, I get 
an alert box stating "Sigil is a multi-platform EPUB ebook editor has stopped 
working" ...

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?

version 0.5.1 on Microsoft Windows Vista (32-bit).

Please provide any additional information below. If your source file
(SGF/EPUB/HTML/etc) is required to fully understand the problem, please
attach it to this issue. Read the ReportingIssues wiki page before
submitting!

The main toolbar menu option only provides for inserting an image from the book 
browser. It seems to me there used to be a way of importing an image from 
either edit or the toolbar ...

Same with Version 0.5.1-64 on 64-Bit-7. Also installing 0.5.1-32 and even 
installing the old working verion 0.5.0-64 didn't help.
