Make sure that the background of the page is dark as per the shown images. Do keep in mind that this repo is more of a "proof of concept" and the "installation" is not great, but you can easily reproduce manually from "Tools > Options"

Same result. How does the text input box look on your LibreOffice Math ? The background color on mine is #ffffff (even though NONE of my selected Application Colors are #ffffff.

It might be an issue with the theming of the application itself. I have a Breeze Dark as a gtk / qt theme as well. Screenshot_20210104_185212
