launcher ex infinite force close error message loop #315

i am unable to get out of an error message loop reading:

"sorry! the application adwlauncher ex (process android.process.acore) has 
stopped unexpectedly. please try again."

options to user - force close or report

both lead back to the same error message

What version of the product are you using? EX

On what phone? HTC EVO 4G

What Android version? 2.2

please help, this is my only phone - have kids and i'm without a phone trying 
to run a business - thanx!

and for the record i am unable to access my phone and any of its controls at 
all. . .

What exactly did you do to the phone? And this is not the forum for ADW EX but 
please elaborate on what went wrong.

Hey buddy i faced the same issue some time back. What I did was that i started 
my phone in Safe mode.

Steps For starting the Phone in Safe Mode:
1. Remove the battery from the phone.
2. Re-insert the battery.
3. Press and hold the Menu key.
4. While holding the Menu key, turn on the device.
5. When you see the lock screen, you can release the Menu key.
6. 'Safe mode' displays in the lower-left corner.

Now If that doesn't work try these steps to switch your phone in Safe Mode

1. Remove the battery from the phone.
2. Re-insert the battery.
3. Once the phone is off, press and hold the Power button until the phone logo 
appears on the screen.
4. Release the Power key.
5. Once the flying Android appears on the screen, press and hold the Menu key 
(on the myTouch Q, press and hold the Menu key on the keyboard) until the home 
screen loads.
6. Release the Menu key.
7. Safe Mode will display in the bottom left corner.

Now you should Uninstall the troubled ADW launcher,
