Sorting of folders/files #104

Open GoogleCodeExporter opened 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Install windows version
2. Navigate to C:\Windows

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
The expected output is sorting folders first, then files. Instead, folders
and files are all mixed in together.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using version 0.6.1 on WinXP

I agree that being able to specify date descending sort order for files and
folders
would make Hawkscope much more useful. Sort should be configurable separately
for
files and folders, because a common configuration would be to retain
alphanumeric
sorting on folders, but date sorting on files.

I would find HawkScope a lot more useful if it would sort files by TYPE - i.e.,
all
subdirectory folders first, then files in order of extension, so all .txt files
would
be together, and so on.
