Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 9 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 9 years ago
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Creating a quick access list
2. Shutting down computer
3. Restarting computer

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
I expect to see the quick access list I have created in a partucular
session upon starting up my computer for the next session. Instead, I see
the default menu.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Version 0.6.1, on Windows XP Home Version 2002 SP 3.

Please provide any additional information below.
Changelog and environment report attached.

Thank you.

I just loaded Hawkscope yesterday, and I have exactly the same problem, and am
using
the same version of Windows XP. I vote for this to move up in priority for
repair,
as it's a major feature that induced me to install Hawkscope in the first place.

Issue confirmed. Windows back slashes in path are not escaped properly in
version
0.6.1. Wait for a fix.

Meanwhile you can manually open C:\Documents and
Settings\youruser\.hawkscope.properties and edit "quick.access.list" variable
to have
paths with forward slash instead of back slash ("c:/folder" instead of
"c:\folder").
