Are there any plans porting pam-python to python 3?

Work was underway here: https://github.com/Ralnoc/pam-python/tree/update_for_python3 don't know the status though

Also work is being done on it on the original project, which this one is a fork of: https://sourceforge.net/p/pam-python/tickets/5/ But it's quite slow as the last update on it was last year.
