Can I just remove status bar without entering full screen status? #25

I am using a docky with setting it to autohide,and when mouse moves to the top 
of screen,this docky will show.But if entering into full screen status,this 
docky will not show even mouse moves to the top of screen.So,is it possible  
just to hide status bar without entering to fullscreen status?
