          An enhancement request....

Could you add another tray menu option to create and show the existing test windows, so that then a person could add or delete and then save?

I now have 16-18 test windows to create.

I understand if you would not.

Peace.

Mike

Could you give more details? I am unable to reproduce, obviously! Could you give a copy of your ini file? You can zip it and attach it in a post.

For now the only way to open faster test windows is to use the Ctrl+N shortut (it will open a new test window from a test window).

Yay! Thank you.

Wow!!!! With the interzone set to zero, and having three 4k monitors with 23 overlapping zones that I created with the FancyZones editor, then snapping new windows to those zones. I have an unbelievably flexible and great setup where I can use quarter or half screens or central. My two side monitors are vertical and my central landscape because I present on it.

Thank you so so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 💪

AltSnap1.61test1_x64.zip

This build adds an Edit snap layout entry in the tray menu that will restore all the test windows to each snap position. It will only open the currently selected snap layout.

Ichisich commented 1 year ago

test1 introduces some additional gaps between the zones when using the layout editor. snap layout

Normally it looks like this: normal

RamonUnch commented 1 year ago

Indeed I need to take them into consideration.

This one should fix it:

AltSnap1.61test2_x64.zip

weaverinva commented 1 year ago

Thank you Ramon. I will try it.

I use Alt mouse drag to snap automatically and then use shift to resize back to normal.....however, in the 60 ga release, when I do my shift with Alt and drag, the window widens to across my three monitors instead of the original size.

Peace.

Ramon....Thank you so much for all you do.

I use AltSnap every day and it is great great and yet simple.

I have 22 zones across 3 monitors in various configurations for where to snap windows, quadrants, halves, center, top/bottom.....The way the snap to center option works now....marvelous.

Would there be a way to open all the existing test windows from the ini easily? Then I would not have to recreate 22 windows when I want to adjust something.

Thank you for considering.

Peace.
