Cheesing the final fight: killing Anthagar before the dog arrives #61

So, in my perpetual quest to break the hell out of Baldur's gate 2 and mods, I currently have this oddity where every enemy AND ally is cloned - at the least for the Dusk mod. So in the final fight, I face twice of each enemy.

I am cheesing the hell out of this though.

First, I killed all the enemy mages in between dialogues, but I did not kill Anthagar yet. This worked very well - I could just now rest to the soul of the map (but still inside the map) and replenish all spells, abilities and so forth.

Only two Anthagar were left over. So, they trigger only dialogue with Dusk it seems I can not start to fight, because if I attack one Anthagar, the other Anthagar also turns hostile. So I killed both. But now I am stuck in that cave it seems? The rest of the final fight dialogue does not trigger. Perhaps an additional check could be added aka "if Anthagar is dead AND all enemies are dead, continue with the final part of the quest" or something like that.

I'll try another run, cheesing it again, but I realiased I needed more firepower to deal with twice the enemies (Poki etc...). :D

PS: I also got most of Dusk's items twice. :) So two of the same rings and so forth. That's quite funny as I can switch rings and other items when they are empty. :D

You got me with this one. I thought it wasn't possible to cheese the final battle lol.

As for the duplicate things, the best thing to do is to delete the mod files from the override folder (first uninstall the mod). Once the files are deleted, reinstall it. It should be fixed that way.
