I think after playing through the Dusk NPC mod once, it would be an interesting
idea if Dusk then also begins to build an underground guild for wizard slayers.
He may say something like "Hopefully we can form a new Order against Evil" when
creating it. Or something like that.
That underground guild could then be underneath the new area where Demolisher
etc... reside (and could have a sleeping place for Demolisher too).
The guild can be kept simple, perhaps just one large guildhall. The other NPCs
could say that usually they get into the guildhall only at night.
There they secretly train new Wizard Slayers.
Perhaps to avoid interfering with other mods or code in regards to Wizard Slayers,
the Dusk-trained one could be called slightly differently such as Wizard Slayers of
the White Order (or whatever else may fit ... Emerald Stone ... Shilmista or whatever
the name was). Upon starting a new game, the player could also play such a
Wizard Slayer. Perhaps offer three slightly different kits. The initial abilities can
be similar to Dusk, but perhaps a few additional abilities could be given, such as
blinding dust or so that can bypass most magical barriers can cause blindness
of an enemy mage. Or something like that.
The idea is that the player first plays the regular game once, and when finished
can be such a wizard slayer. But without Dusk necessarily in the party. :D
Optionally upon installation the player could decide that such a wizard slayer
guild is there from the get-go. This is probably easier to implement and could
be done first; the other variant above, though, is more for storyline purposes
aka "our great successorr, Dusk, once founded this new order".
Anyway. That is just a rough idea. Even if it will never be implemented, I think
as an idea it is quite nice. The new area is also great, another cellar below the
current one may fit even without a guild of wizard slayers. Like a sleeping
area for Demolisher and an area with magic sand for the leprechaun to
hide gems and what not.
