It's not invalid to have Vobsub in an MP4 container. VidCoder does check to make sure the subtitle format is compatible with the container. The most notable restriction is that you can't have soft SRT subtitles in MP4.
Thank you, expected an automatic conversion to MP4's native soft subtitle format...
Problem Description
As long as there is no automatic conversion from vobsub to txt (mp4), would it be possible to implement a warning when VOBSUB subtitles get included in an encoding to a mp4 container? Isn't it unvalid to add vobsub subtitles to a mp4 container?
What version of VidCoder are you running?
