What steps will reproduce the problem?
1. Launch server

What is the expected output? What do you see instead?

[thc_rpg.smx] [Core] [CheckDBUpdate] Database query error. No data fetched.

What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Latest version of THC RPG on Windows 8
