[BUG] - LIDARR - TIDAL Stopped downloading/finding missing albums

Describe the bug Id started downloading (maybe 1000+ successful TIDAL downloads) but has since stopped - saying ERROR no results found or ERROR no search results found

Expected behavior To continue downloading albums as expected

You need to link to specific albums and their musicbrainz counterpart. If I had to guess, everything is working as designed and the problem is the data does not match similarly enough, which is not something that can be fixed easily…

Edit: The only way to solve it is to add a release to the release group that matches more closely or perfectly with the album on the service. The most important things that matter are Track Count and Album Name must match in both musicbrainz and the external service for it to be able to locate the album.... Previously, it could get the album via URL if it was under related links for a particular release... but since Lidarr does not contain that information, its not possible to get that information...

Hi, thanks for the reply. I'm sorry, i'm quite new to this so please forgive my naivety. How would I " link to specific albums and their musicbrainz counterpart" or "add a release to the release group that matches more closely or perfectly with the album on the service" (TIDAL)?

So option 1, isn't an option as I later updated...

So here is an example of an album the script will never find because the album name does not match....

So the way to resolve it, is to add a Release to that particular Release Group on Musicbrainz and have the album name + track count match.... Which as of now, the track count is fine, but the album name does not match, which is why it cannot locate it, due to it being too dissimilar....

Musicbrainz is a community managed database, that is maintained by users such as yourself, so you have the power to improve it...

Sorry, I'm not getting this... Example: https://listen.tidal.com/album/7678895 I added a release https://musicbrainz.org/release/e23b4f1d-ce85-44e6-a367-18ceaa2743db with 13 tracks. It still doesn't find it :(

After you add it, you have to wait for lidarr to have the data. So wait 1-2 hours, sync the artist in lidarr and make sure the release populates as an option in lidarr. At that point the script can then find a match for it... However, keep note that the script only retries not found albums on a periodic basis, so you have to wipe logs to force it to try again sooner...

Thanks for the quick reply! I've found the logs so can delete what i need to there. I'll check it out tonight. If all goes well I'll have a busy few days ahead with 100's of unmatched albums to add :(
