If your on an ARM based platform, which seems like you are based on the OS... so that might be the issue... ARM is untested and I don't provide support for it for that reason....

Sorry for the confusion, I made a mistake there. This particular Lidarr instance is not running on Raspbian, but on Debian Bookworm on AMD64 and the downloader was working just fine before.

hmm, try updating the image and force restarting the container. Make sure there are no errors in the setup script that installs dependencies needed, because the error is a result of a function not working... which requires a certain package to be installed.

The error is not reproducible in my own setup... So forcing an image update, and restarting the container a couple times to ensure you have all updates might be all that is needed....

No use, sadly. I didn't spot any errors during startup or the like, restarted at least 10 times, removed the extended folder and config and the contents of the custom-services-folder, issue persists

You probably need to see if you can run the python command from the CLI to troubleshoot further, replace variables and etc....

Something I thought of... Are you using the init script? (which is in the instructions for configuration)

If your not, maybe your not pulling the latest setup script which install the dependencies....

pyxdameraulevenshtein was missing. I am using the init script and I didn't notice any errors during startup/dependency setup. I installed the dependency manually and it works for now.

Hmm, the init script runs the latest setup script from online... So not sure why I didn't just work for you... Probably something for you to investigate further as I cannot reproduce the problem...

Oh dear this is embarrassing. I corrected the missing " in one of your latest commits and thus forked the repo. To correct the error on my end, I changed the setup script to pull the forked one instead of your's... thank you very much for your time, I'm going to facepalm for the rest of the evening now.
