Upstart replaced with Sysd on Ubuntu #45

Hello,

As of Ubuntu 15.04, Ubuntu has permanently switched to sysd from upstart. This change has not yet been incorporated in dev. The only option is to start Ubuntu in Upstart mode from GRUB. There are four upstart scripts: sipauthserve, smqueue, openbts and asterisk. Can they please be converted to sysd?

Any updates about this issue?

@usamamuneeb, @aguilasainz. Please find my scripts for systemd in my repository https://github.com/nadiia-kotelnikova/openbts_systemd_scripts. I can not guaranty anything, but for me, they worked. I have spent a lot of time to run them, and now want to share with others.

Thanks @nadiia-kotelnikova I'll try those on Monday and let you know. Is your Ubuntu 16 .04 fully updated? Another question, are you on amd64 or i386?

panakota14 commented 7 years ago

@aguilasainz Ubuntu 16.04 is fully updated on amd64.
