Kurt doesn’t clear slowpoke well blockage #958

I reached Azalea Town and spoke with everyone however Kurt only asks if I have acorns for balls instead of triggering the action of him leaving to unblock Slowpoke Well from Team Rocket. I’ve tried closing my app, exploring the Ilex Forest in its entirety and back tracking two towns to see if I missed anything. However, I’ve battled everyone and explored everywhere so I think this is a glitch and not something I missed to trigger the interaction. If any one has solutions incase I’m missing something please let me know but it seems to be a glitch.

did you use any cheats in the save prior to this?

Were you playing on the Delta emulator? We've had several reports of problems with it, in spite of it running a gambatte core (which we officially support).

I'm playing on the Delta emulator. I also tried turning on the shiny encounter cheat when I first started the game but it didn't work so I removed it right after. I'm not sure if I saved with it on. I'm still early enough in the game that I may as well reset the story to see if it was the cheat or Delta.

Can you please give me the non-working code you used? This would allow me to check whether or not the cheat is the reason the flags were corrupted.

I tried using these four variations of the shiny in wild code.

I got the codes from reading Pokemoncoders for Crystal cheats and this reddit thread specific to Polished Crystal cheats:

Additionally I started a separate save state and have started the game again so as soon as I get to that point again I'll let you know if it's different for me this time.
