Development has ceased temporarily since I have other projects to attend to, mainly discord.py and my bot.
I hope to one day resume development though. Just kind of have had no time due to other projects taking my time.
Ok, I created some of the important issues. Some other are already open. I don't use Power Tabs at the moment cause of some missing features but i will become a power user if development goes on. (Its no solution for me w.o. pinned and tree tabs)
If you update Power Tabs i will join again and contribute the next package of requests.
Hopefully we see more of Power Tabs. Greetings
p.S.: A fusion of "Tree Style Tab", "Sea Containers", "Conex" and new "Tab Groups" would be the ultimate Tab solution for the future of Fox <3
Sea Containers is dead Conex is a "beginner" project Tab Groups miss a huge amount of features to work good with sidebar tabs Tree Style Tab doesn't get any improved tab/group management and is "outdated" with actual updates.
The plug-in is perfect for me BUT one huge issue: groups does not show their content across all instances (windows) of firefox. Then I have my 6 groups in my 3 windows, but only the first window has everything and the othres nothing.
@tradewatcher
You may like to have a look at Sidebery (Firefox AMO, GitHub) which is still actively developed.
"Session Boss" + "Multi-Account Containers" + "Container Tabs Sidebar" provides a good solution where sessions are backed up and in the event that a restore is needed, tabs are restored into their respective tab containers.
Session Boss: for backing up and restoring sessions with tabs being restored into tab containers correctly Container Tabs Sidebar: for the tabs and containers navigation and manipulation (its not as good as Power Tabs, but good enough) Multi-Account Containers: allows one to create, modify, delete custom containers. Really useful is the ability to sync container lists across devices using the FF sign on email address. This does not sync tabs... there may be a setting to enable this elsewhere within FF.
Closing the sidebar panel by clicking the same toolbar icon or by pressing the same keycombo, which was proposed back in 2018, is still not implemented. Aggrrhh!
Hi,
sorry I wasn't sure how to contact you. Please answer and close this "issue".
I took a look on "Power Tabs" Addon and I like it but the GIT repo looks a little bit outdated. If you continue development I will open 2-20 "Feature Requests" / "Optimization" feedback. But i dislike to do this work on a "dead repo".
Most important feature we miss is a tree structure as ex.
