RFE: Fix Links #2

Closed GoogleCodeExporter closed 8 years ago

GoogleCodeExporter commented 8 years ago
It'd be nice if internal links worked in the PDF. I believe they break
because of the page-by-page approach (using 'pdftk cat') to pdf production.

Perhaps it is better to extract all pages & to use a file list with htmldoc.

See:

discussed at:
http://www.mobileread.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7999

for a system that does preserve links.

Thanks for the links! I wasn't aware of this other converter. I just begun to
hack
again on (my) chm2pdf and I'll have a look now to that script.

Now intra-pdf links still do not work, but WWW links *COULD* work. Give 0.9
version a
try.

Is this still happening? We *do* use a list of files to pass to htmldoc now, so
things should work as expected. I will change the status to "Fixed" - feel free
to
post any objections.
