Fix TS mistakes (remove any usage for charts + others and add good typedefs + comments)
Ensure we all have typescript & prettier setup setup properly in our editors
Add prettier checks to CI
Add branch protection

Kinda grouped a lot of things into this one issue. I'll handle everything but the TS stuff.
