Airplay Audio not working

Hi,

im using the latest Version of rasplex on my raspberry pi mobel b (512mb ram). I know that Apple changed the airplay protocol and videostreaming is not possible therefore, but music streaming should work - at least you say so in the FAQs :-)

I tested it yesterday and i can connect my iphone (6s, ios 9.3) to rasplex (rasplex is shown as an audio player on my iphone when i select the airplay output) and if i click on "play" on the iphone everything seems fine (music plays) - i do not receive an error message.

But i can't hear anything, i don't know where my music is actually played, but not on rasplex. I dont even see anything on my tv screen that indicates, that music is played...

Sorry for my bad english - i hope you understand my problem and maybe cann tell me if i have done anything wrong?

Airplay is activated in the settings (and i see the rasplex airplay speaker symbol on my iphone), but no music is played on rasplex / the tv speakers...

Airplay of music from iOS 9.3.x does not work here either. It works fine when the source is the AirFoil application on Windows.

AirPlay is not working from:

• iOS (no error message)
• iTunes on a Mac (reports unsupported AirPlay version)
• Airfoil on a Mac (reports could not connect, but nothing more useful)

Airplay was removed in the 1.8.0 release - too broken sorry
