The latest version of PMS introduced the ability to force stop any stream, local or remote. This feature is especially useful for killing remote streams that have been paused for a very long time. Unfortunately, this does not work when trying to kill playback on an OpenPHT client. After stopping a stream in PMS, the playback will open back up (still in the 'paused' state) a few moments later.
I made a post in the Plex forums, and one of the Plex Team Members said that OpenPHT does not understand the 'Admin Stop' command coming from PMS. Is this something that could be integrated into OpenPHT? I've included logs from PMS as well as the remote OpenPHT client where the behavior occurred.
