OpenPHT Embedded 1.8.0.148 Freezes Consistently After ~1 Minute #249

After starting up, browsing the menu of media (Movies, TV shows, etc...) eventually freezes and no longer accepts input. I've tried using a Logitech USB keyboard, harmony remote, and nothing brings input back. I can still SSH into the system, so it isn't halted, though. Seems awfully similar to issue #239

In order to gain input again, I have to manually power off and power on the NUC, only to get ~1 minute of input before everything freezes again.

Downgraded by placing OpenPHT-Embedded-1.7.1.137-b604995c-Generic.x86_64.img.gz into /storage/.update and the issue does not happen anymore.

FYI, some others ran into the issue with the NUC. Believe running the intel branch resolved it.

Installing the Intel_EGL branch solved the same issue for my Zotac ZBOX ID18.

Can confirm the Intel_EGL release fixed the freezing issues on my side.
