10 years ago Im having exactly the same problem. LAN and USB's do not work with rasplex, but its absolutely fine with all of the other OS's. Hopefully this will be fixed soon.

10 years ago I'm having the exactly same issue, can't get the B+ with RasPlex to work. I can boot up fine but it doesn't allow me to use the keyboard (or mouse). I tried two different keyboard. In addition, i installed NOOB to confirm keyboard, mouse, wifi dongle work. Please, help!

10 years ago B+ hardware arrived today so we will have a release out soon that will fix it. The issue is it requires a firmware update, which is easy to fix if you just google it. We will release a fix soon but needed the hardware in order to test.
A fixed build for b+ will be out early next week most likely.

Hello
I cannot get my new B+ to work with RasPlex. It boots up to Welcome to RasPlex wizard but it will not recognise my LAN and all USB's so i have no keyboard. I have reflashed my SD card and same again. I installed NOOB software from Raspberry site to confirm my USB/Lan are working. Please help. Baz
