@frankozland if hostapd is throwing errors like you reported in #1600, the service may be active but has entered a failed state. you'll need to get to the root of the other issue first.
its a fresh install - same issue on 2 different identical raspberries. im going to downgrade os and raspap to prior version
reboots dont fix it, moving to duplicate raspberry pi doesnt fix it. - its virgin install. there is something going on w/ os is my guess- there is a bug in this release at network stack.
same hardware, downgraded OS and raspap. now everything works.
the OS has a bug.
It does indeed. See https://github.com/RaspAP/raspap-webgui/issues/1600#issuecomment-2183963931
i used the latest raspberry pi os with full-upgrade and couldnt get it working. so it looks like this is still an issue. i thought i followed the instructions correctly. i'm using a
pi 5.
raspberry pi os lite 64 bit
did the full-upgrade
command
i dont know if i missed something. but its not working how i think it should.
