Some small elements span 2 pages.

E.g. Desert Race 'save' elements:

This happens in most Scratch project PDFs.

Good point, yep. I wonder if this can be resolved with some sneaky css…

This sort of thing is really what the .new-page directive is for. If an element is being split like this, you can add a .new-page to it to force it entirely onto the following page.
