I noticed this on the todo list and I use it. Unfortunately the mod author posted a notice back in February 2014 that they are no longer able to work on this mod.

There are a few versions of this mod. Hopefully this will help you know what kind of support they each need.

The "Mages of Winterhold - Standalone Pack - v3point6" only adds the robes as unenchanted new robes and leaves the vanilla ones alone. This one needs some support. The robes are named "Apprentice Destruction Robes" and such (because each school has its own color scheme) so when PaMa grabs them and assigns an enchant to them, they look like this, "Apprentice Destruction Robes of Destruction". There are also hoods and boots with similar names. Becomes very redundant. IF I use it, I usually add this one to the blocklist because I can't figure out how to stop the redundant names without manually editing every single robe, boot, and hood name in TES5edit.

The "Mages of Winterhold - Common Robes Pack - Version 2point5" is supposed to add 4 new monk robe variants. I believe the brown actually replaces the vanilla monk robes though. It was eventually supposed to include an improved necromancer robe as well, but I don't think it got made/added. Could use some support.

The "Mages of Winterhold - Replacer Pack - v3point6" replaces all vanilla versions of robes with the new textures, including the archmage robes. This also has an "Unofficial Skyrim Patch - Compatibility Patch " file you have to download with it if you use both. I discovered this .esp still had the standalone versions as records even though they weren't made available by the .esp itself. This was allowing PaMa to grab them and distribute them. I've used TES5edit to delete those errant non-replacer records from my own esp. The few conflicts that the USP patch fixes can easily be copied from the USP itself into this .esp instead of using the extra file. Could still use support.

The "Opulent Outfits Mages v4 Update" simply provides improved .esp files and optional ones for hood + circlet.

All of these files can be used together if you want. I suggest just using the replacer + USP patch + common robes with the updated .esp files. Though, as mentioned above, the replacer version will still cause PaMa to distribute errant robe versions with redundant names unless something is done.
