There isn't a good reason to scan from Jan 3rd if we didn't have a 12 word BIP44 solution until....

Scan from Oct 1, 2018 instead.

Actual, we think is Oct 7th when it was released in the AppStore.

This can be done by setting the first checkpoint in checkpoints to the block you want to start scanning from.
