Not able to re-add S20 to homekit after factory reset... #48

Hi, I successfully flashed my S20 switch with the RavenCore firmware. It worked in Homekit and I could change the settings in the Eve app.

I now pressed the button 10 sec to reset the switch to "factory settings". I added the correct WiFi settings and Homekit is able to find the switch but when trying to add the switch it takes a long time to process and eventually Homekit says it cannot connect to the accessory.

Is there something else I need to do? I have a similar problem with the basic switch.

You are doing things in the right way but, did you remove accessory from Home App before adding it again?

Niet S20 works again, did an extra reset en moved it closer to my WiFi access point, not sure if it helped but it works again. When I did a factory reset the switch disappeared from HomeKit but I’ll keep in mind to remove it next time.

I do still have an issue with my basic switch. After the factory reset it turns on the access point to connect. I am able to add my WiFi settings but when I then try to add it to HomeKit, it isn’t able to find the switch. It keeps search but without a result. Any idea on how to fix that?

After trying it over and over it finally showed up in HomeKit and works. Haven't tried the updates but all seems good now.
