SV Shield doesn't up/downgrade #21

Description of issue

SV Shields do not upgrade/downgrade. The Advanced Shield says it should downgrade in the tool tips, but doesn't. I am assuming that they are supposed to be able to up/downgrade.

Probably related to the blockgroup limits to prevent players from placing more than one shield generator because people are stupid and think that redundant or cumulative shield generators are a thing.

Thanks for reporting this. This will happen with any block that has a shared block limit when you try to upgrade or downgrade them unfortunately. The game sees that you are already at the limit and therefor won't let you upgrade a block, even though you'd still have the same number of blocks the game just sees you trying to upgrade a new block.

I will mark this as a game bug so others can find it if they have the same problem, but it's not anything we can fix within the scenario except by allowing multiple shield generators at the same time which wouldn't be possible for every block affected by this (also as Vermillion mentioned, will lead to more reports if we did that).

This is likely a game bug and will need to be reproduced and reported using a vanilla save game. When reproducing a game bug in a vanilla save, make sure you are using the same mode (singleplayer/co-op/dedicated multiplayer, survival/creative) as what you were using when the issue happened in the scenario. Though investigating this did also lead to an issue that we CAN fix that allows placing multiple advanced SV shield generators.

Seems like it only happens when there is an "Equipment group". That's what you mean with "shared block limit" and doesn't have to do with the maximum amount only right?
