I should have added the blast doors are shown just to explain where they are - there is normally a row of combat steel blocks in front to hide them, they would not be intentionally exposed like that.
Too many factors with little to no control on our end since it's the doors are vanilla and blocking the weapons. There's nothing that can be done on the weapons to change this and nothing that we can do to the doors.

Description of issue
Issue described in workshop comments - trying to hide heavy weapons (multi barrelled cannon -heavy) behind shutters/blast doors, and encountering issues with any heavy weapon refusing to fire when doors are open. In testing I have placed blast doors vertically along the opening, with the cannon 2 blocks behind (in the images uploaded this is the first image) the cannon refuses to fire even with doors retracted and nothing in the way. Medium and light weapons will fire in this mode with no issues. If I remove the middle blast door (second uploaded image) the cannon will fire without any issues. I can only assume that there is some sort of bug with the heavy weapons as the light and medium weapons will fire without any issue with a blast door or shutter being used to close off the weapons when not in use.
