The game recording script is uhhhhhhhhhhhhh? empty??

Ah, good spot!

The typical not hitting save before uploading to GitHub.

Let me know how you get on with it and if you run into any problems!

Well. When i open the file, put in the key to stop and name the recording, it tell me my resolution and after pressing enter it just crashes. also one more thing. auto restart after completion crashes the script. any fixes?

Hey again,

I think I need more information to understand what is happening, would you be able to do the bellow for me:

let me know what your resolution is?
Are you using Windows?
Are you an administrator user?
what is the file name you try to give the recording, or is it left empty?
Also please let me know the full path printout it gives you.

Would you be able to test out the following gameplan recorder and see what error it gives, please? game_recorder_withpause.zip

Also in terms of the auto restart problem would you be able to make another git issue for that and I will try to help you out!

well my res is 1920 x 1080, windows 10, im an administrator, name is random i just typed in f and g on the 2nd attempt. crashes. and ill check the recorder rn so give me a sec

hmm that is strange, would you be able to do the following for me please:

Open a CMD window
Navigate to the original gameplan recorder, using the cd command
e.g. cd C:\Users\Public\Music
Then launch the script with the command, python gameplanrecorder.py

You may need to adjust the spelling on the above command, and be sure to launch the original gameplanrecorder and not the new one i sent you.
